Here are a few of the sites and web-apps I've had the pleasure to work on.

Tooksomephotos

Concept, PHP, Design, XHTML, CSS

Tooksomephotos aims to be a super simple, easy to use photo gallery site, so easy your grandma could use it! The site's features are actually fairly basic, but it's designed in way to allow anyone to get a gallery online in no time. The project is a true test of the power of jargon free explanations, well designed site structure and my own explorations with human interactions on the web.

Although not yet complete, the project's development is certainly well under way, and hopefully an early version should be up in the not-too-distant future.

Try This Stuff

Concept, Design, XHTML, CSS

Have you ever tried a product you thought was so great, you wished you could tell the world about it? Or perhaps you're looking for that perfect little known beer brand in your area? This is what Try This Stuff is for.

Try this stuff is a web application of my own invention that allows users of the social web to easily and quickly find little-known brands of food & drink that they'd otherwise not know about.

Currently in development in conjunction with Dancing Orange, Try This Stuff allows users search for products by category or keyword, find places of purchase, pictures, reviews and ratings or even submit their own products to the database. Check back for a site link in the not-too-distant future!

Dancing Orange

Design, XHTML, CSS

Dancing Orange is a small Ruby on Rails driven development studio based in the town of Stamford in the UK. They create beautiful, easy to use web applications as well as helping individual clients in "gaining a strong web presence".

As well as doing design work for Dancing Orange on external projects, I also designed and coded their new website. The idea was to give the new site a fresh, clean makeover whilst maintaining their fun and down-to-earth feel that lies at the core of what we're about.

Over the coming months, I'll be doing design work for Dancing Orange on projects as well as working on my development skills through them.

Adelais Networks

Design, XHTML, CSS

Adelais is a small web hosting company offering a variety of reliable hosting packages with great customer support for less than you might think. I was asked by Adelais to create an updated design for the site.

The new design offers a simple, clean and professional layout. Navigation is situated on the left hand side of the page, with the main content appearing as it logically should in the middle. On the right there are some useful tools and testimonials from Adelais Customers.

I now regularly work on the maintenance of the Adelais site and since the original design, I've helped implement a new system for the customer domain and hosting purchase process.
